At RentO we want the experiences our users share to be useful, authentic and respectful. This policy explains what content is allowed and how our moderation process works.
1. Allowed content
You can share real experiences related to a home, building, owner, manager, area or rental process.
Reviews may include opinions, personal experiences, ratings, photos, videos and other information related to the experience of living in or renting a property.
2. Content that is not allowed
We do not allow content that:
- Is deliberately false or misleading.
- Contains threats, harassment, intimidation or discrimination.
- Includes personal data or private information about third parties.
- Contains extortion or attempts to manipulate a rating.
- Is a paid or fake review, or is posted to deliberately benefit or harm someone.
- Impersonates another person.
- Infringes copyright, intellectual property or other third-party rights.
- Promotes illegal activities.
- Contains sexually explicit or inappropriate material.
3. Moderation
RentO may review content using automated tools, human review or a combination of both.
We may reject, hide, edit or remove content that violates this policy, our Terms and Conditions or applicable law.
4. Verification of experiences
RentO may request evidence to verify that a person actually lived in or rented the reviewed property.
Evidence may include leases, receipts, photos, videos, communications or other documents. Submitting evidence does not guarantee that a review will be published.
5. Anonymous reviews
Users may post anonymously when this option is available. The user's public identity will be replaced by an identifier generated by RentO.
Being anonymous to other users does not mean being anonymous to RentO.
6. Ratings
Ratings must reflect the user's real experience. Creating multiple reviews, using fake accounts or taking any action intended to artificially manipulate ratings is prohibited.
7. Reporting content
Any user may report a review or content they consider contrary to this policy.
RentO will review reports and may take the corresponding measures in accordance with this Policy, its Terms and Conditions and applicable law.
8. Updates
RentO may update this Policy when necessary to reflect changes to the Platform, new features, moderation practices or legal requirements.
